Leadership

A Message From Our Executive Committee

In the United States, New York Global Group has a single focus: acting as a liaison between the international markets and Asian-based clients. We assist clients in several key areas – including introduction of strategic relationships, introduction of relations with duly licensed U.S. investment banking firms and institutional investors, facilitate efficient communications with global institutional investors and general communications from Asia to the U.S. Our U.S. arm is not, and does not act, as a broker-dealer or investment advisor.

For more than a decade, our team members have participated in over 200 Asian related projects in four key areas: corporate finance, venture/private equity investments, due diligence assignments and export assistance.

In the United States, we are led by our Executive Committee and our Chairman James N. Baxter, Esq., a graduate of Yale University and Harvard Law School, who was also the former Head of Far East Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch, former Head of Pension Services Group at Salomon Brothers and a seasoned corporate finance attorney formerly with the global law firm of Sullivan & Cromwell.
